Data methodology
How to read and use our data articles.
- We use public, named sources, such as national statistics offices and international bodies, and never personal data.
- Every data article ends with a methodology note: what each figure covers, the period it refers to, and what the data does not show.
- Every figure on the page links back to its source.
- If a source revises its figures, we update the article and say so.
Using our data
You are welcome to cite our data articles with a link. The underlying figures are available on request from hello@watchnetwork.global.
